Book Buying is an Addiction!

Hey guys, Rose here. Lately I have been buying a lot of books, and by a lot I mean at least 5 a week. I think I may have an addiction to be honest, but I have always wanted my own library and now I am making that dream come true. My latest big buy was actually a Kindle Oasis. I just got it in the mail today, and I am loving it. I also purchased a really cute little pink bag to carry it whenever I go out. I plan to mainly bring my kindle to places for reading when I am not at home, and I will read all my paper books at home. Going back to my book buying problem, it wouldn't be that much of a problem to buy all these books if I was actually reading them. Unfortunately I have been in a bit of a reading slump lately, and just have not been reading as much as I want to. I did manage to finish a book yesterday called Orphan Monster Spy by Matt Killeen, and I gave it a 3 out of 5 stars. I hope to finish a review for it on goodreads soon. Right now I am reading Pestilence the first book in the four horseman series by Laura Thalassa. The book may not have the best messages in terms of abusive relationships, but I didn't really expect it to considering it is a darker romance. Overall I am liking it and am 42 percent finished with it. Now I think i will get back to reading have a great day everyone.

Book Review: Capturing the Devil

What's up peeps? I don't know if you have yet to venture into the world of Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalo, or if you have already immersed yourself in the adventures of Audrey Rose and Thomas, but let me tell you this series has ended far too quickly for me. I recently finished the fourth and final book of the quadrology, Capturing the Devil , and this book is amazing. Between Maniscalo's eye for detail and her expertly executed plot twists, this book kept me on my toes the entire time. I was quite literally at the point where I would drop the book because I needed just a moment to either squeal into a pillow like a girl who just got asked out by her biggest crush, or cover my face in shame for the amount of empathy and emotions I felt for Audrey Rose and Thomas. This series has stolen my heart and nestled itself right near the top of the list containing my all-time favorite book series. It has murder and mayhem, mysteries, plot twists, diversity, and romance.

November Update

It is finally November my fellow readers. Halloween and the glorious month of October are over. It has been about two weeks since my last post I believe and I have news for you. Time for a post Halloween bookhaul and reading update. Starting with the bookhaul. This Monday the 29th of October I went to Barnes and Noble and bought several books. On top of that I also picked up the final book in the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J Mass when it was released on the 23rd. At Barnes and Noble the books I got were 1. Girl at the Grave by Teri Bailey Black 2. A signed copy of Bridge of Clay by Markus Zusak 3. The 10th Anniversary Edition of City of Bones by Cassandra Clare 4. A signed copy of Vengeful by V.E. Schwab 5. Reunited by Colleen Houck I also picked up some books at Target during my haitus and they were 1. Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare 2. O M G!

I JUST FINISHED ELIZA AND HER MONSTERS AND OMG IT WAS FUCKING AMAZING. I wish I could forget everything I read and read it again just so I could experience it all over. I loved the authors writing style, and it was one of the most relatable books I have ever read in my life. Well relatable for me I have no idea if it would be relatable for you guys. But I loved it so much. It covers some really important topics too like anxiety, depression, and suicide. I think Zappia covers them in a really masterful way. Zappia doesn't only focus on them and lose the story, but she masterfully weaves the problems into her story through her characters lives giving a good message on how to deal with these mental issues. I rate this book a 5 out of 5 stars. I was enamored with it the whole way through and would definitely recommend it. I plan on checking out the rest of Zappia's books as well which are Children of Hypnos which is a story she writes on WattPad and Made You Up. Also I really want
