July 25th Book Haul!

Hello friends, as promised I am delivering to you a bookhaul. This will have both books from a bookoutlet haul and some books I purchased from my local Barnes and Noble. From Barnes and Nobles I purchased Never Fade by Alexander Bracken, The Last Magician by Lisa Maxwell, and The Evolution of Claire by Tess Sharpe. I have already finished The Evolution of Claire and I enjoyed it a lot, mainly because of the dinosaurs. One of the main things I enjoyed about the book was that it really made Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom make more sense. Claire seemed to randomly have a total 180 in the movie, but after the reading the book the transition became more logical. The list of books I got from Book Outlet is much larger, starting with Afterworlds by Scott Westerfeld we then have The Noble Servant by Melanie Dickerson, The Cosmic Serpant by Jeremy Narby, Frost Like Night by Sara Raasch, The Riddle of Rosetta Stone by James Cross Giblin, Girl of Nightmares by Kendare Blake, Alice in Wond

FeelsBookSlumpMan

Hey everyone, sorry I haven't posted in a while. I don't know why, but this has been a difficult reading summer for me; I just can't seem to fine the motivation to read. To be fair part of that is probably due to the fact that I started playing Ark again, but I feel like there is also another reason I just cannot put my finger on. I did recently purchase some books, so as soon as those arrive I will do a bookhaul post. Currently I am trying to find motivation to start Never Fade , which is the second book in the Darkest Minds quartet. However, I may drop that and reread a book or start a different book to find my motivation. I should also mention that I have been reading some books on my kindle. However, I don't really think they are worth posting about, and I probably won't even be reading the final book in the series. I am speaking about the Fae Chronicles and honestly the books were very problematic and just keep getting worse as the series goes on. Also a lot of

July 10th Bookhaul!

Hello friends, first things first I discovered something very awkward. My last post I talked about how I purchased A Thousand Nights by E. K. Johnston, and when I went to put it on my shelf I realized I have already purchased this book. I am okay with owning two copies though because one is hardback not signed and the other is a signed paperback. Diversity is important. In other news I had to go to the mall today to pick up my last pay check so of course I stopped by Barnes and Noble. I picked up four books today, three of which are new releases and one of which is signed. The signed book I got is called Dread Nation by Justina Ireland. Funny story actually, I went to get my check while my dad was picking up the books. I got my check before he was done, so I headed upstairs to see if he needed any help. The book clerks were helping him when I got up there, and one of them had just left to find Dread Nation. So, I was like okay dad text me when they are bought I am going to go look aro

Vacation! Kind of?

Whats up book nerds I am super tired, but I have some news to share. On Sunday  July the 8th I got to go on a sort of vacation/day trip to Austin, Tx. While there I visited the largest independent bookstore in Texas, talk about exciting. It is called BookPeople and you should definitely check it out. Of course while I was there I just had to purchase some books. I ended up buying three; two were ya and two were middle grade. The book I am most excited to read is probably Endling the Last . It is a middle grade that came out somewhat recently I believe, and it is written by Katherine Applegate. I also got a signed first edition copy of it. The second middle grade book is more pictures than book, and I mainly picked it up because I wanted to try different styles of books. It is Thornhill by Pam Smy, and I have looked through it a bit. It seems interesting, but I haven't looked at any blurbs or anything else so I am not quite sure what it is about. The third book I picked up is a sig

Super Late BookHaul

Sorry Sorry Sorry. I have been so late posting lately, and I feel bad, but not bad enough to post more obviously. One of the first books I got is also what I am currently reading. It is called Also Known As by Robin Benway. Right now I am feeling like it is a little too middle grade or early high school for me, but who knows maybe it will get better. On top of that I got Reign of Shadows by Sophie Jordan. Not gonna lie I bought it purely based on the cover, and after reading the blurb it seems to be a Rapunzel sort of story. Next my mother went on a trip to Portland, Maine recently and bought me two books as well as a super cute bookmark. The bookmark is wooden and is mostly plain, but it has a little cut out of a T-rex at the top. The books she bought me were Gwendy's Button Box , which is a novella by Steven King and Richard Chizmar in honor of Stephen King living there, and The Truth of  All Things by Kieran Shields. Finally I got two more books from Book Outlet which are anth

AHHHHHHH

I haven't posted in so long. I am so sorry forgive me friends. Here is an update. I do not remember what I last said I read, but I finished Smoke in the Sun if I never said that. I feel like I did though. Oh well too lazy to check. I am currently reading the third book in The Darkest Drae Trilogy, and I got some new books. I will haul those in a different post later. It was that many; I got four from BookOutlet, in much better condition than the books I got last time from there, and my mom got me two books when she went to Portland, Maine. Apparently Steven King lives there. I did not know that. After I finish the book I am currently reading I am either going to read Also Known As , which I will talk about in my book haul, Blood and Sand , or Defiant which is the sequal to Valiant . I don't know why, but I am kind of in the mood to read books with fight scenes. Before I leave you all to read, if I ever go a long time without posting again feel free to watch my progress on Go
