Winter Wolf

So long story short I read like 6 pages of zer0es and just wasn't feeling in the mood for that type of book, so I started Winter Wolf by Rachel M. Raithby instead. So far the best thing I can liken it to is all those cheesy werewolf books on Wattpad. I will say it has much better grammar than most of those though. I am 12 percent into the book, and so far I rate it somewhere in between 1.5-2 stars. It just seems to be lacking something at the moment, but who knows maybe it will get better as I read on. Right now though its as cliche as any other werewolf/shifter book you could read on Wattpad, and I'm glad I got it on sale.

Book Review: Capturing the Devil

What's up peeps? I don't know if you have yet to venture into the world of Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalo, or if you have already immersed yourself in the adventures of Audrey Rose and Thomas, but let me tell you this series has ended far too quickly for me. I recently finished the fourth and final book of the quadrology, Capturing the Devil , and this book is amazing. Between Maniscalo's eye for detail and her expertly executed plot twists, this book kept me on my toes the entire time. I was quite literally at the point where I would drop the book because I needed just a moment to either squeal into a pillow like a girl who just got asked out by her biggest crush, or cover my face in shame for the amount of empathy and emotions I felt for Audrey Rose and Thomas. This series has stolen my heart and nestled itself right near the top of the list containing my all-time favorite book series. June 14th BookHaul!

Greetings fellow bibliophiles, I do believe I have discovered a curse. Every time I say what book I am currently reading on goodreads I either do not finish it because I start other books or I take forever to read it. This theory requires further testing, and I will update you as I discover if my hypothesis is true. In other news I finished Marked by Jenny Martin yesterday. I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars, but honestly I probably should have gone with 3, and I might change it. One of the reasons for this possible rating change is that after thinking about it more it seems that the characters didn't progress fluidly. They seemed to jump from one state of being to another with no real reason or realistic time required for these changes to happen. However, I could be wrong because it has been about two years since I read the first book in this duology, Tracked , and I have probably forgotten some stuff. I Feel Emotional

So guys it has been a hot minute since I made a new post, but I have read sooo many books, seven and a half to be specific. I finished Royally Bad by Nora Flite, and holy crap was it bad. I do not reccomend this book. Not at all. The story was bad, the relationship unrealistic, the characters shallow, and overall just some cheap romance. Next thing I read was Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken. I really enjoyed this book, and I read it in preparation for the movie that will be released later this year. I don't really have much to say on this book. I can't think of anything super bad I didn't like and I can't think about anything I really liked either. I would recommend to give it a read though.
