So guys it has been a hot minute since I made a new post, but I have read sooo many books, seven and a half to be specific. I finished Royally Bad by Nora Flite, and holy crap was it bad. I do not reccomend this book. Not at all. The story was bad, the relationship unrealistic, the characters shallow, and overall just some cheap romance. Next thing I read was Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken. I really enjoyed this book, and I read it in preparation for the movie that will be released later this year. I don't really have much to say on this book. I can't think of anything super bad I didn't like and I can't think about anything I really liked either. I would recommend to give it a read though. Whats up people, I'm back. Sorry for the long time away, but I have read three books. The first book was Reign of the Earth, so apparently my curse is all in my head. I also read Blood Oath and Shadow Wings by Raye Wagner. These are the first two books of the Darkest Drae trilogy, and I am eagerly waiting the third book which comes out on June 30th. I was pleasantly surprised by these books, and especially the second book. I think that in a lot of romances with dark characters there tends to be an abusive element that the author overlooks. For example being abused by someone and then just going with it because their abuser was in a bad place or "had no choice" etc. However Raye Wagner does a great job of addressing abuse in her books. The main character doesn't immediately go to her abuser like omg I forgive you ooo i love you so much blah blah blah. Instead she doesn't trust him, she doesn't want to be with him, she doesn't throw herself into his arms, an...

What's up reader peeps? I have another book haul for you today. I received one box of purchases from BookOutlet and I also perused a different Half Price Books for more anthropology finds. I was actually kind of disappointed in BookOutlet with this package because a lot of the books were bent, and I don't mean the paper backs. The hardbacks were bent too, and I'm like how do you even do that, but for all I know it was the shipping company so I am not going to dwell on it. The first book in my BookOutlet haul is Spindle's End by Robin Mckinley, and the second book also by Robin Mckinley is The Blue Sword . I have read both of these books before when I was in 6th grade, and I remember absolutely loving them which is why I have now purchased copies to keep. Greetings fellow bibliophiles, I do believe I have discovered a curse. Every time I say what book I am currently reading on goodreads I either do not finish it because I start other books or I take forever to read it. This theory requires further testing, and I will update you as I discover if my hypothesis is true. In other news I finished Marked by Jenny Martin yesterday. I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars, but honestly I probably should have gone with 3, and I might change it. One of the reasons for this possible rating change is that after thinking about it more it seems that the characters didn't progress fluidly. They seemed to jump from one state of being to another with no real reason or realistic time required for these changes to happen. However, I could be wrong because it has been about two years since I read the first book in this duology, Tracked , and I have probably forgotten some stuff. Hello fellow bookaholics, lately I have been super into books on Persephone and Hades. I don't know why I just have been. Since I last posted I have read four books. The first book I finished was For the Love of Hades by Sasha Summers, and I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars. For the Love of Hades is the actually the second book in a trilogy, but you don't need to read the first book to understand the second. The next books I read are called the Seed trilogy , and I have linked the first book in the series Seed Volume One. They are written by M.M. Kin, and I gave all of them a 4 out of 5 stars. I liked the trilogy a lot, and it followed Persephone from birth to marriage. I highly recommend the trilogy, but be warned the trilogy does have several adult scenes. Other than those books I am still continuing to read Reign the Earth, but I am only about 30 pages in unfortunately. Hi everyone, I just received one of my packages from BookOutlet today, and therefore have a book haul for you guys. I themed this book haul as more children's books than anything else. So here we go. Watership Down by Richard Adams, Winnie the Pooh by A.A. Milne, The Girl Who Drank the Moon by Kelly Barnhill, How to Train Your Dragon The Complete Book of Dragons A Guide to Dragon Species by Cressida Cowell (wow that one was a mouthful), and a hard cover copy of The Goose Girl by Shannon Hale. I already have all of the books of Bayern series in paper back, but I wanted to start getting them in hardback as well. For those of you who are unaware Goose Girl is the first book in the quadrology. I first read these books when I was in 6th grade and have reread them many times since. They are by far one of my favorite middle grade series, and I gave them all 5 out of 5 stars. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for some great middle grade stories. Whats up just a quick check in.  I finished the Persephone trilogy by Kaitlin Bevis. I liked it, but it wasn't super wow and amazing. I wanted a bit more romance if I'm being honest, and then there was the whole problem with some of the characters being really similiar. It wasn't bad though and while I won't reread it ever I don't regret reading it the first time. The next book I will be reading is Reign of the Earth by A. C. Gaughen. I have had this book on my shelf since it came out, and I recently went to a signing by the author. Well actually my mother went to the signing for me because I was scheduled to work that day, but from what she said the author was very cool. The book is about two kingdoms one that controls the elements and another that cannot who have always been hating each other. The elemental princess agrees to marry the prince of the other country in order to get peace. However, her husband ins't as honest she believed he would be. Or at least...
